LEAF ME ALONE

Hi! Today is my day for the Leafs Me Happy Blog Hop. I want to thank Cherry from Cherry Blossoms Quilting Studio for hosting this wonderful fall hop. You can find the full list of hoppers here. I'd also like to thank Madame Samm at Sew We Quilt for organizing so many fun blog hops. You can see all of the Leafs Me Happy blocks at her Pinterest site here. Now, onto my block.

I titled my post "LEAF ME ALONE" because I made a lone Maple Leaf block. It is a 12 inch finished square in beautiful fall colors of red and gold. I wanted to make more but time ran out for me. I think I'll put a border or two on it and use it for a candle mat.

I had to have cataract surgery on the 1st of October. Right now as I type this, I have one good eye and one bad eye. That kind of gets in the way of everything. It's hard to sew, read, type and most everything else. My other eye will be done on the 15th of October so I should be as good as new by the end of the month. Just in time for the Holiday Lane blog hop.

Please don't forget to visit my fellow blog hoppers to see many more beautiful fall creations.
